We know it’s summer time and with summer comes vacations. It’s exciting that our country is opening up a bit more to allow for families to travel. But as the country reopens and people begin to hit the open road again, cases are rising and safety still needs to be front and center for our people.
We want to take this opportunity to clarify our policies on travel and self-quarantines. There are major hot spots where COVID-19 cases are on the rise. Please see the below image highlighting these areas. Should you travel to any of the states highlighted in red we are asking that you consider the health of our community and self-quarantine for 14 days prior to returning to the gym OR get a COVID-19 test and provide us with a negative test result prior to returning to the gym.
Please know, we are not discouraging travel, but we are encouraging a safe and responsible return to our gym and community. Below we have provided some additional information to help you navigate travel in the coming months and available testing sites should you choose to get tested to avoid the 14 day quarantine.
It is also important to note that, just like any other test, false results can occur and may not be the end all be all in determining infection. We encourage you to still be conscious of the presence of any signs and symptoms that are associated with COVID-19 and seek further evaluation should symptoms occur.
Should anyone need to self-quarantine after travel, please do not hesitate to reach out to your online coach for home based training needs while you are away!
